Vocational Services
Kainos’ Vocational Services program is designed to serve adults with disabilities in community based employment. A full spectrum of paid work options in a natural work environment enables an individual to earn a paycheck while developing their work skills and abilities. These opportunities serve to maximize potential, increase self-esteem, prepare individuals for community based employment and allow them to contribute to the local economy. Our programs promote independence, self sufficiency, emotional well-being and increased financial independence.
Kainos works closely with local businesses to identify their staffing needs and to provide them with pre-screened candidates which can be an individual hire or a small work team. All of Kainos community based work teams are accompanied by a full-time on-site supervisor. If the client is a direct hire, an on-site job coach will assist the employer with initial training and on-going support as needed. All on-site supervisors or job coaching services are provided at no cost to the employer.
